摘要: Notch 信号通路是神经发育过程中必不可少的信号通路之一。它在胚胎生长发育期通过促进神经干细胞增殖或允许神经干细胞分化为神经元/胶质细胞,维持神经元和胶质细胞合适的数量和比例;在成年中枢神经系统损伤后,调控神经干/祖细胞向神经元/胶质细胞分化,参与和调控神经系统的修复过程。

Abstract: The Notch signaling pathway plays a pivotal role in the process of neurogenesis in central nervous system. It not only maintains the appropriate number and proportion of neurons and glial cells in the growth and development of embryo, but also regulates the injured neural stem/progenitor cells to differentiate into neurons/glial cells of the adult nervous system, promoting the repair of the nervous system.
