摘要: 脑缺血后星形胶质细胞作为中枢神经系统第一个受损的细胞,出现肥大、增殖,并合成表达多种炎症介质,启动免疫级联反应。星形胶质细胞产生的炎症介质共同作用于中枢神经系统,损伤和保护脑组织机制并存。了解星形胶质细胞及其表达的炎症介质,对寻找减轻脑缺血后炎症反应损伤的新途径具有重要意义。

Abstract: Astroglia is the first cell type in the central nervous system to encounter insult after brain ischemia. Then ischemia stimulates hypertrophic and proliferative changes in astroglia and induces it produce inflammatory factors involved in the initiation of immunologic cascade. The expression of these cytokines which interact in the central nervous system can both damage and protect the brain tissue. Therefore, it is important to study astroglia and cytokines in order to find a new way to reduce inflammation insults after brain ischemia.
