摘要： 乒乓球运动具有适于智障儿童康复锻炼的诸多特点，能够符合智障儿童康复锻炼的基本原则。实践表明，对不同程度的智障儿童，乒乓球运动都有康复作用。另外，在政治、经济、文化、教育等方面，智障儿童进行乒乓球锻炼的都具有非常高的社会价值。

Abstract: Table tennis as an exercise can meet the basic principles for mentally retarded children rehabilitation. Some empirical data showed that it is effective on varying degrees of mentally retardation. In addition, it is valuable in some other aspect, such as politics, economy, culture, and education.
