Abstract: Depression is the most common mental disorder in epilepsy, which means that they maybe have some common pathogenesis. This paper discussed the biological relation mechanism, such as neurotransmitter, neuropeptide and its receptor, glial cell, immune-mediators, nerve signal transduction pathway, synaptic plasticity and nerve regeneration.
