Advance in Physical Therapy for Motor Function Rehabilitation of Patients with Parkinson's Disease (review)

Abstract: Physical therapy is a feasible treatment for patients with Parkinson's disease besides drugs and surgical treatment, and it helps to optimize the therapeutic effect and alleviate the complications caused by drugs and surgery. This article summarized the application of physical therapy in improving the motor function rehabilitation of patients with Parkinson's disease from several aspects, including the possible mechanisms, the rehabilitation methods of motor function, the intensity and time of treatment, and the limitation of physical therapy.
