Conductive Education in Hong Kong

Abstract: The conductive education system in Hong Kong is considered to be suitable to the rehabilitation work for children with disabilities, with the philosophy of person-based, respecting the children personality and their development needs. The system integrates the international conductive education into local rehabilitation, and creates education-rehabilitation system adopting Hong Kong conditions. Through this system many children with disabilities are improving their ability of adopting society, which is a good foundation for them to their social inclusion. Their experiences are worth to learn and reference by rehabilitation institutes and workers in mainland China.
