Abstract: Objective To explore the perioperative nursing care of cooled radiofrequency for refractory craniofacial postherpetic neuralgia. Methods 13 refractory craniofacial postherpetic neuralgia patients were reviewed. Results Visual analogue score significantly decreasedafter the treatment (P<0.01), and severe dropsy after treatment was relieved in 2~3 weeks. Conclusion The cooled radiofrequency iseffective on refractory craniofacial postherpetic neuralgia, while the perioperative nursing care was safe, feasible, and worthy for more application.
