Visual Rehabilitation for Uveitis Complicated Cataract with Phacoemulsification

Abstract: Objective To observe the effect of phacoemulsification on uveitis complicated cataract. Methods 38 cases (46 eyes) with uveitis complicated cataract were performed by phacoemulsification. Results 3 months after operation, the best corrected visual acuity (BCVA) was  0.3 in 36 eyes (78%) and  0.05 in 44 eyes (96%). No posterior capsule ruptured in operation. Conclusion Phacoemulsification is effective on vision after uveitis complicated cataract.
