Advance in Study on Dysphagia Induced by Cerebrovascular Disease (review)

Abstract: As the common complication of cerebrovascular disease, dysphagia increased gradually with the improvement of incidence rate of cerebrovascular disease. Dysphagia caused many complications, such as aspiration pneumonia, intake disorders of water and nutrition, asphyxia, mental disorders and so on. These complications badly affect living qualities of patients. Meanwhile, they also increase the mutilation rate and the fatality rate. In this article, the authors systematicly reviewed the progression of study on etiopathogenesis, clinical manifestation, early diagnosis, prevention and cure of dysphagia of cerebrovascular disease for the past few years.
