Abstract: Objective To investigate the effect of vision on plantar pressure of visually impaired persons when walking. Methods 14 health young men aged 21~26 years were analyzed by the Footscan USB2 system, dynamic parameters of each person's foot plantar pressure when eyes opened and covered was recorded 5 times, and the mean peak value of force with eyes opened and covered were calculated. Results Compared with eyes opened, the difference of peak value of fore in plantar corresponding areas was obvious when walking with eyes covered, and the pressure center was left moving. Conclusion The vision has obvious effect on plantar pressure when walking.
