Advance in Exercise Interventions for Patients Receiving Maintenance Hemodialysis (review)

Abstract: The suitable exercise plays a particular role in patients receiving maintenance hemodialysis. In recent years, many reports demonstrated the suitable exercise intervention could improve the well being, vitality, fatigue, cardiovascular and mental functions and the efficiency of dialysis. Many kinds of exercise interventions, such as low intensity prolonged aerobic exercise, home-based aerobic exercise, etc., have been applied. It is important to be individualized the intensity, time and frequency of the exercises.
