Abstract: Neurogenic bowel dysfunction is one of the most common complications of spinal cord injury. It can cause abdominal distension, constipation, fecal incontinence, difficult defecation, prolonged defecation and other symptoms. At present, neurogenic bowel dysfunction is mainly evaluated through general condition, physical examination, experimental examination, professional scales and intestinal microbiota, etc.
