Abstract: We measured IgG and IgM ACA levels by a modified enzyme一linked immunosorbent as-say(ELISA) in 122 patients with brain infarction and 86 healthy controls. Significant difference in positiveIgG and IgM ACAs was found between the patients with infarction(50.8%)and the control group(11.6%).The relation between positive ACAs and brain infarction was studied. The pathogenetic mecha-nism remains unclear.
