Psychological responses and nursing strategy for patients with head and face chemical burn

Abstract: ObjectiveTo investigate the effective nursing strategy on various psychological problems of patients with head and face chemical burn.MethodsVarious psychic reactions of 52 patients with head and face chemical burn were analyzed and mental nursing was taken to these patients.ResultsThe depression and anxious scores of patients at time of discharge were significantly declined compared with time of hospitalization(P<0.01).ConclusionThe mental nursing can not only benefit to the improvement of patients' mental status but also make them optimum to accept treatment and nursing.
