Effect of Computer Operation Training on Patients with Cervical Spinal Cord Injury:16 Cases Report

Abstract: ObjectiveTo observe the effect of the computer operation training on patients with cervical spinal cord injury. Methods16 patients with cervical spinal cord injury were trained to learn Word software operation and typing skill. Modules of Employability Skill (MES) was adopted in the training and the results were measured according to each module and cell. ResultsThe operation Word software and typing speed significantly improved compared with those pre-training (P<0.01 respectively). ConclusionPatients with cervical spinal cord injury can use computers skillfully after good occupational training.
