Abstract: In the special education field, sports are benefit to body and mental health, and also can improve abilities of taking care by self and adapting society. In this article, the authors summarized both domestic and foreign researches on the problem of intellectual influence of sports activities on mental retardation children, and put forward the future research direction and prospect.
