Assistive Technology Act of the USA and Enlightenment for China

Abstract

Abstract: Assistive Technology Act of the USA is a very important law for the persons with disability in USA. The background of the Assistive Technology Act of the USA was reviewed and the guarantee of laws for the disabilities was discussed in the paper. From which, some theory and practice for special education of China can be obtained, and some experience and enlightenment for setting up related laws in China also can be worked out.
