Analysis of Adaptive Service of Assisitive Devices for the Limbs Impaired in Guangzhou: 281 Case Report

Abstract: Objective To analyze the adaptations of assistive devices to persons with physical disability.MethodsThe demands of assistive devices for 281 persons with various severity levels of physical disability involved in using assistive devices adapters were compared.ResultsThe total need rate of 281 cases for assistive devices was 74.73%. The more severe persons with physical disability was, the greater the demand of assistive devices was ( P<0.001).ConclusionTo deliver suitable services adapted with assistive devices to persons with disabilities, the exact needs of assistive devices for persons with disabilities could be met. Thus assistive devices for persons with disabilities could be delivered in a timely manner.
