Reliability and Validity of Test of BTE Primus Grip Attachment

Abstract

Abstract: Objective To test the test-retest reliability for the BTE Primus grip attachment.Methods30 healthy adults were recruited to test the grip strength of BTE Primus grip attachment and Jamar grip tool in one day, the 2nd retest was conducted 7 days late.ResultsThe BTE Primus grip tool was found to be reliable (ICC = 0.957, 95%CI = 0.908～0.980) and valid ( r=0.842, P<0.01).ConclusionBTE Primus grip attachment can be applied when evaluating hand function in clinic.
