New Trends in Immunotherapy of Multiple Sclerosis (review)

Abstract: Multiple sclerosis(MS)is a kind of autoimmune-associated central nervous system disease.Because of the limited information about the mechanism,MS has been treated by immunosuppressive agents.In this review,the authors will compare the benefits with facing risks of conventional immunosuppressive treatments.Current and future immunosuppressive and immunomodulating therapeutic approaches at the level of cytokine,chemokine and adhesion factors are also discussed in this review.
