Each case of both groups was treated with routine treatment, and those in the treatment group were treated with insulin instantly and early rehabilitation in the first day after onset when physical signs were stable and conditions didn't deteriorate. They were assessed with Neurological Impairment, Fugl-Meyer Assessment and Barthel Index 4 weeks after treatment.
