Application of Bobath Concept to Dysphagia after Stroke

Abstract:

I reported on the treatment applying the Bobath concept for the dysphagic cases. I also pointed out that in this treatment it is very important (1) to facilitate stability and orientative movement of the trunk and the head, (2) to help composing selective motion for each of the jaw, the hyoid bone and the larynx, and (3) to enhance motion skills of the oro-facial area.
