Abstract

Abstract: Objective To survey the characteristics of surface electromyography (sEMG) of lower extremity during the activities of daily living (ADL). Methods 30 normal adults performed 7 basic activities, while their average electromyography (AEMG) of sEMG of rectus femoris, vastus medialis, vastus lateralis, gastrocnemius, anterior tibialis, and soleus was determined. Results and Conclusion The AEMG of lower limbs during the ADL was different in left or right, male or female, and different muscles.
