Abstract: This paper elaborated the significance of accessible bathroom design, and analyzed the physiological, mental and behavioral characteristics of persons with physical disability. According to their special needs and accessible design concepts, the design principles which consist of safety, independence, individuality, usability and amenity were discussed. Besides, the design points for building modules and facilities were summarized.
