Functioning and Exercise Rehabilitation Strategies of Obesity Based on ICF-Core Set of Obesity

Abstract: This paper analyzed the functioning and characteristic of body function, body structure, activities and participation and environments based on the theories and methods of International Classification of Functioning, Disability and Health (ICF). It was concluded that environment was the main reason of the development of obesity, body structure was an objective indicator of determine of obesity and also the degree of obesity's intervention, physical function changes reflected the hazards and their severity, and activity and participation was an out performance of obesity's difficulties or obstacles. Based on these conclusions, several corresponding sports rehabilitation strategies were proposed.
