Music Therapy for Verbal Development of Autistic Child: A Case Report

Abstract: Objective To discuss the intervention of music therapy for autistic child in verbal development. Methods An autistic child accepted receptive and recreative music therapy, his development of verbal and relative abilities were observed. Results The verbal and relative abilities significantly improved after treatment. Conclusion Music therapy is very effective on language development in the autistic child, as well as the development of moods, sensory perception, communication, behavior and cognition.
