Abstract1576)      PDF(pc) (1014KB)(1544)       Save
Objective To evaluate the efficacy of pregabalin combined with nerve block on postherpetic neuralgia (PHN). Methods 60patients were assigned into group A (n=30), who received pregabalin orally, and group B (n=30), who received nerve block (trigeminalnerve, intercostal nerve, lumbar nerve block) in addition. They were assessed with visual analogue scale (VAS) of pain, sleep score fromHamilton Rating Scale for Depression before and 3 d, 1 week, 2 weeks, 3 weeks, 4 weeks, 5 weeks, 6 weeks, 7 weeks, and 8 weeks aftertreatment. The incidence of pain decreased >50% and >30% were compared. Results The scores of VAS and sleep significantly reduced inboth groups 1~8 weeks after treatment (P<0.01), and decreased significantly 3 d after treatment in group B than in group A (P<0.05). The incidenceof pain decreased >50% and >30% were more in group B than in group A (P<0.05). Conclusion Nerve block combined with oralpregabalin is more effective on PHN.

Rab27a gene can participate in the secretion, transportation and exocytosis of T lymphocytes, mast cells, neutrophils, pancreatic β cells and hematopoietic cells through its encoded proteins, and participate in the development of diseases such as albinism, cancer, diabetes, inflammation and thrombosis. In addition, the secretion regulation of Rab27a to exosomes has also received much attention. The current research status of the secretion of exosome and the genetically modified exosomes of Rab27a gene in the treatment of diseases such as inflammatory injury, thrombosis and tumor were reviewed.

Intestinal flora plays an important role in the process of human health and disease conversion. It not only participates in a number of physiological processes in the host, but also affects the central nervous system (CNS) -related diseases, which may involve in neurotransmitter, immune, endocrine, metabolites, etc. Intestinal dysbacteriosis plays a role in the development of CNS diseases, such as ischemic brain injury, Parkinson's disease, Alzheimer's disease, multiple sclerosis, hepatic encephalopathy, and mental disorders, etc. Fecal microbes transplantation, exercise training, acupuncture and Tuina therapy can improve the intestinal flora balance, which may be potential for the treatment and prevention of some nervous system diseases.

ObjectiveTo investigate methods of early postoperative rehabilitation and its effects on patients with bicondylar tibial plateau fracture treated by modified dual plating.Methods66 patients with bicondylar tibial plateau fracture from Tianjin Hospital were divided into 2 groups according to the starting time for postoperative rehabilitation: early rehabilitation group (n=30), convalescents rehabilitation group (n=36). The two groups had the same treatment since the fourth week postoperative. Tibial plateau angle (TPA) and posterior slope angle (PA) of tibial plateau were measured to evaluate the stability of proximal tibial and knee alignment. The Hospital for Special Surgery (HSS) score system and knee joint range of motion (ROM) were used as the parameters for knee function.ResultsThe mean value of TPA and PA had no significant changes, compared to the final follow-up and postoperative X-ray films(P>0.05); the differences between the two groups were statistically significant in the mean HSS score and mean value of knee flexion and extention ROM(P<0.01 or 0.05). There was significantly positive correlation between starting time and the total number of treatment was significant(P<0.01), while negative correlation with flexion ROM of knee joint and the HSS score(P<0.01).ConclusionThe correlation between rehabilitation intervention timing and functional recovery for patients with bicondylar tibial plateau fracture treated by modified dual plating is significant, early individual and systematic rehabilitation therapy can effectively improve the prognosis features of patients.

Methods

Literatures were retrieved and reviewed from the databases of PubMed, Web of Science, CNKI, Wanfang and VIP until December, 2020. The experimental researches about human motion intention recognition based on surface electromyography were summarized.

Results

The methods of motion intention recognition were divided into three models: musculoskeletal model, traditional machine learning model and deep learning model.

Conclusion

It is difficult to fully estimate human motion intention using surface electromyography in a single way. More researches are needed to develop more accurate and real-time human motion intention recognition methods.

Patients often suffered limb dysfunction after stroke. Upper limb and hand function recovered more slowly than lower limb, and became one of the research focuses in rehabilitation medicine. Timely and effective assessments were important to guide the rehabilitation treatment, evaluate the treatment efficacy and predict functional recovery of upper extremity and hand function. The assessment methods of upper limb and hand motor function included subjective evaluations and objective evaluations. The former included different kinds of scales, which involved assessment focusing on muscle, motor pattern, change of upper limb and hand function. While the latter contained biomechanics, neuroelectrophysiology, functional magnetic resonance imaging, upper limb robotic evaluation system and so on. Scales were proved to have good reliability and validity. But they could not show patients' function accurately because of the subjectivity, and the data could not be kept. Evaluation system with computer was applied in clinical practice more and more widely. In this review, we summarized the assessments on upper limb and hand motor function in patients after stroke.
